Use this page to reach the office that actually holds the record. The detention center handles current local custody and jail-held records, city police handle municipal reports, the sheriff routes warrant questions, and the Circuit Clerk handles court records and dispositions. State, federal, and immigration systems have separate routes. The contact information below comes from official pages reviewed for Boyd County and should be verified before sending a request or visiting an office.

A city police report and a county jail booking are different records. Identify which agency made the arrest and which custodian holds the requested item. Neither city page publishes a complete current arrest-photo feed.

Court, State, and Safety Contacts

Boyd County Circuit Clerk: The official court page lists the Judicial Center at 2805 Louisa Street, Catlettsburg, and 606-739-4131, 606-739-4132, and 606-739-4133. Use Guest CourtNet for available case information, then ask the clerk for certified or official copies.

Kentucky DOC: Use KOOL for state offender and supervision searches and the KDOC open-records page for a state-held record or photo not visible online.

Victim notification: Kentucky VINE provides custody and release information at 1-800-511-1670. Boyd County Hyper-Reach provides local emergency alerts. Neither is a mugshot roster.

Emergency or tips: Call 911 for an emergency. Use the KSP confidential tip form for state-police information and Ashland Silent Witness for the city tip route. Do not approach anyone based on a private page.

Correction Requests

For an incorrect official record, start with the originating jail or police agency. For a court change, consult the Kentucky expungement guidance and the clerk. For a private copy, use the publisher's own correction instructions after documenting the official change. RecentlyBooked and Mugshots.com publish no-fee correction or removal policies. BustedNewspaper lists `info@bustednewspaper.com` but no dedicated free removal policy was verified. The Kentucky anti-pay-to-remove statute supplies a legal boundary, not an instant deletion process.
